Prestrafing!

Hey guys.

I always wondered how you prestrafe. I always see it in replays and people talk about it, since it makes for a faster start. But I never seem to get how you do it right. I have a general idea of how you do it, but no one really explains it somewhere or theres no tutorial to it. When I asked some people they said you have to go in an angle and jump in the other direction? Help me out. I always try it but never really start faster than just jumping into the ramp. ?_?
