Help writing a wikipedia page

Hey there,

I am looking for people who have been surfing for a long time and know a lot about the history of it. I want to make an exhibition on surfing maps, but need some background info...

I was hoping people here could help me with this. I thought it would be nice and handy to collect the info in a Wikipedia page, since that also does not yet exist for surfing as a game mode.

Any info about the origins of surfing, changes in map making, or whatever is useful information!

Ok I have set up a Google Doc since there apparently already was a Wiki page but it got deleted (http://deletionpedia.org/en/Counter_Strike_Surf)
